| | Our Institut uses the procedures pursuant to the official collection of examination policies according to §64 LFGB (German Foodstuffs and Consumer Goods Law as well as German Animal Feedstuff Law). Further standarised procedures are implemented likewise, for example, validated real-time PCR protocols for proof of Salmonella and Listeria. |

| | Launch of the Institut in form of a partnership by Prof. Dr. Ralf Erdmann at the site of Crailsheim in 1997. |

| | Moving to Rheda-Wiedenbrück in November 2002. Accredited microbiological test laboratory and reorganization into a private limited company (German: GmbH). Establishment of an advisory board of scientific experts at the same time. |

| | 2004 - Launch of the molecular biological department. Crailsheim was developed as an expert’s centre for the food trade. |

| | Today, the Institut Dr. Erdmann employs around 100 members of staff in its expert’s centre analytic at Rheda-Wiedenbrück. Among our team there are food chemists, biochemists, engineers, oecotrophologists, biologists and veterinarians. Additional logistic service points in southern and eastern Germany guarantee a qualified nationwide sampling service. | |
